Mr John Papargyriou is a member of the Athens Bar Association. He is specialized in Civil and Commercial Law and is highly experienced in Competition Law and State Aid, Debt Regulation and Law Enforcement.
He has extensive experience in cases of Extrajudicial Debt Settlement, Debt Regulation via Direct Negotiation with Banks and Debt Management Companies, Collection of Bad Debt, Law Enforcement, Protection of Primary Residence and Vulnerable Debtors. Furthermore, he is a qualified mediator accredited by the Ministry of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights.
He has served as a legal advisor to the Ministry of Education as well as to legal entities of the State and Government.
He holds an undergraduate degree from the Law School of Athens (2:1) and postgraduate degrees in: Business for Lawyers from ALBA Graduate Business School at the American College of Greece and also European Studies from the Department of International and European Studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
He is fluent in English and has a good working knowledge of German and Spanish.
The office was founded by Mr. Stratis Nikolakeas, attorney-at-law, LL.M., in 2003, with the aim of rendering professional legal services in both Greek and English at competitive prices.
